When the Drug Treatment Programs for drug addict was started, there were very few who used to provide alternative treatment method to their patients.  They used to end up doing the painful detoxifications and after that they had their 12 step program. However, now many alternative treatment methods have come up which are quite innovative and helps the patient to move to the path of substance free condition and also stay at that state. The original traditional method of Drug Treatment was same for all kind of drug patient. Now with alternative method there are number of targeted methods of treatments are available now.

Few of these treatments are related to exclusively for women only. There are other methods have been invented for teens and adults too and there are dual kinds of diagnosis programs. There is a separate program for those who are top level executives in the corporate sectors. There is also individual faith based treatments are also available for people with different religion. There are some patients who are in patient and some are out patient while some people stay for shorter period and longer period respectively. There are few treatments are exclusively private and there is luxurious facilities provided at Drug Treatment Centers. Treatments are specific to certain substances are given.
