Semi-permanent removal of hair from the root cause is known as waxing. Once the hair has been removed it will grow back only within a time span of two to eight weeks. A thin layer of warm wax is applied on the skin, then with the use of a cloth or paper strip pressed to the skin, the hair and wax is ripped off in a quick movement. Waxing can be done on any area of the body. Main areas in the body where waxing is done is the eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet.
